Meet
Ms. Ross, M.Ed.
Wendy Ross brings 27 years of formal teaching experience and a genuine love for helping children learn, grow, and discover their God-given gifts.
Throughout her career, Wendy has taught students from first through sixth grade, developing particular strengths in reading instruction, writing, curriculum development, and child psychology. She holds a Master of Education in Teaching and Curriculum from Penn State and a Bachelor of Science in Education with a concentration in reading instruction from York College.
Wendy especially enjoys helping children grow as confident readers and writers. Through engaging books, meaningful examples, thoughtful instruction, and plenty of encouragement, she helps students discover their own voices and experience the joy of learning.
Her faith is central to both her life and her approach to education. Wendy loves the Lord and serves as an elder in her church, where she is actively involved in the life and ministry of her faith community. She believes children thrive when they are known personally, encouraged consistently, and reminded that their lives and learning have God-given purpose.
At Camp Hill Co-Op, Wendy will create a warm, structured classroom where biblical truth is thoughtfully integrated throughout the day. Each student will be known, supported, appropriately challenged, and encouraged to grow in wisdom, confidence, curiosity, and character.

What is hybrid learning?
Students gather on campus Monday through Wednesday for collaborative, teacher-led learning. On Thursday and Friday, families continue learning at home using guidance and assignments provided by the co-op.
Who is Camp Hill Co-Op for?
Camp Hill Co-Op is currently enrolling students entering second or third grade. It is designed for Christian homeschool families who want consistent drop-off instruction, a small classroom community, and flexibility for learning at home.
What does a typical week look like?
Students attend on campus Monday through Wednesday from 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM for teacher-led instruction, hands-on learning, faith formation, and time with classmates. Thursday and Friday are guided home-learning days with flexibility for family routines, appointments, activities, and field trips.
Is this a drop-off program?
Yes. Students attend independently on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM. Parents leave after drop-off unless they are scheduled to serve as that day’s cleared classroom volunteer.
What subjects will students study?
Students will receive instruction in reading, writing, math, history, geography, and science. Biblical truth will be thoughtfully integrated throughout the curriculum, helping students connect faith with what they are learning while building strong academic foundations, curiosity, critical thinking, and Christian character.
Does Camp Hill Co-Op provide the curriculum and assignments?
Yes. Camp Hill Co-Op provides the curriculum, lesson plans, and assignments for both campus and home-learning days. Families will receive clear guidance for Thursday and Friday so they know what their child should complete at home while still retaining flexibility in how they structure those days.

Who teaches the class?
Wendy Ross, M.Ed., leads the combined second and third grade classroom and brings 27 years of formal teaching experience. She is committed to creating a warm, structured environment where children are known, supported, and encouraged to grow.
Is parent volunteering required?
Families will be invited to participate in a rotating classroom volunteer schedule. To meet Camp Hill United Methodist Church’s Safe Sanctuaries requirements, one cleared adult volunteer must be present with Ms. Ross each campus day. Volunteers assist in the classroom but are not responsible for teaching.
What is the tuition?
Tuition is $500/month plus an annual $150 enrollment fee.
